Jigsaw Medical Summer 2026 Internship

Our 10-week Medical Device Sales Summer Internship Program focuses on developing the professional sales skills of talented undergraduate students looking to gain valuable, one-of-a-kind experience in a fully immersive sales role. This unique opportunity allows you to be directly involved in each step of the sales cycle for our Pleural/Peritoneal evacuated drainage products, expand your professional sales skillset, and build a robust network of industry connections in the medical sales field prior to college graduation and entry into the workforce.

#2. Our internship program and interview process is conducted 100% in-person at our corporate office in North Aurora, Illinois. All candidates must be able to provide proof of Illinois residency to be considered for this position. We do not provide relocation assistance or offer remote/hybrid flexibility.

#3. Other eligibility requirements are listed below:

  • Must be an undergraduate student enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior working towards a Bachelor’s degree at the time of the internship.

  • Must be pursuing a business-related major OR minor.

  • Must have experience or interest in sales, marketing, etc.

The Experience

  • Over the course of ten weeks, Jigsaw Medical’s Summer Internship Program focuses on familiarizing our class of interns with the medical device industry through inside sales outreach strategies and techniques.

    Our team of distinguished and experienced Territory Sales Managers and Associate Reps facilitate the professional and personal growth of each intern through technical product training, clinical procedural training, sales skills development, industry knowledge expansion, networking opportunities, teamwork, and much more.

  • Jigsaw Medical Sales Interns are hands-on in every step of the sales cycle for our pleural/peritoneal evacuated drainage products.

    From building relationships with clinical prospects to closing the deal with hospital administrators, the daily involvement in each step allows our interns to actively acquire valuable sales experience and operational knowledge of the medical sales industry.

  • During the first two weeks of the Jigsaw Medical Summer Internship, all interns are on-boarded and thoroughly trained on our products, the required clinical knowledge, and internal sales processes/strategies to effectively communicate and deliver Jigsaw Medical’s beneficial product solutions.

    Interns continue to receive daily mentorship and coaching from our full-time sales team to further develop their individual sales skills and talents throughout the summer.

    We foster an environment that encourages growth, friendly competition, teamwork, and education to expand the horizons of our interns with a passion for helping others through our product solutions.

    While shadowing this surgery, our top-performing interns also observe how outside sales representatives from Fortune 500 medical device companies showcase their products in the operating room, and how they work with the surgeon to deliver their beneficial product solutions.
